Hierarchical deterministic (“HD“) wallets enable you to receive payments directly to addresses under your control without relying on any third party service. You need an “Extended Public Key” (xpub) from your BIP32/BIP44 compatible wallet client to use this feature.
The xpub is given to you by the wallet after setup. In case of an Electrum wallet you can find find it in the “Wallet” > “Information” menu of Electrum.
You just need to copy the string and paste it into the CryptoWoo settings. If you created a new wallet you can skip the address discovery process CryptoWoo will ask you about.
The last step is to compare the addresses that CryptoWoo displays right after you skipped the address discovery with those in shown in Electrum (enable them via “View” > “Addresses”) to confirm that the plugin creates the same addresses as those in your wallet.
